Liked: The hotel is located in central to Istanbul's old city, so every market is within walking distance. The room and other facilities were very stylish, it has a free pool and sauna. The hotel management was very professional and friendly. The hotel also gives free breakfast and dinner and both were delicious. Disliked: The management should pay more attention to the cleaning and maintenance staff. The trash bin in the bathroom in my room was not emptied and my parents' room had stained bed sheets and their heating wasn't working. However, the hotel's management immediately sent somebody to fix those problems. Also, most of the service staff (cleaning, maintenance, etc.) didn't speak English so communication was hard.

Upon arrival, we did not get the luxury room we paid for. We ended up in a tiny hole without a jacuzzi and a fireplace. The toilet flush did not work. When we asked for compensation, the Customer service manager argued with us and did not want to give real compensation, only what the hotel has for free (e.g.: lunch, dinner) He did not want to give a free transfer, because it costs money, etc. He assured us that the next day we would get a bigger room in the quiet section. He said it was worth more, but it wasn't worth more to us. He always said that we should understand him, but he didn't want to understand us. We asked to get a free massage, which the receptionist had already promised, but she withdrew the previous promise and was only willing to give a cheaper massage. The next day, we didn't get the massage at the promised time, only later, because the massage manager didn't want to give it at the promised time. (We finally got the massage and the employee (therapist) was very professional and nice.) There was constant construction work in the hotel, there was noise in the quiet section and the wellness was not working in the basement. It wasn't a good feeling that the hotel didn't want to suffer a financial loss, but we didn't get the room we paid for on time.

This hotel is really beautiful, the staff very helpful. Our room is the best, we enjoyed our time here even for only 1 day. Nice location not crowded, walking distance to Grand Bazaar. I never regrets choosing this hotel for my honeymoon in Istanbul. In the morning we offered to have sandwiches and staff helping with luggage and calling taxi. Special mention to Habe and Efe for their excellent services.

So checked in today. Took about 15mins to tell us that the room is ready and waiting for porter to take us to our room when we could have done that. We came from a long flight so just want to go to our room. They kindly upgraded to us the jacuzzi room which was nice. Our room is 1014. Our first problem was that it was hot. The ac was not working as it had central locking. We were very hot and if my head gets hot, then start to bleed. They fix it but room is hot. It's cold outside and sauna inside for us. Then the jacuzzi was not working. Maintenence came, worked for 2 seconds then went off. He said its something to do with thr circuit and needs investigate. Called reception and spoken to mustafa, he was not helpful. He didn't even tried to understand I was saying. Kept on saying I will get maintenence. 🤦🏽‍♀️. He said he will change the room tomorrow...we are staying for two nights. Maintenence said one of the buton causes short circuit and not to use it. I was caution on the reviews and even messaged. Tried to cancel but booked no refundable. Reviews are true, avoid if you can. Room was lovely, shame not everything was working and just looked pretty.

Housekeeping staff entered in room without knocking 🤬 Location on google is wrong No body attend the Phone number provided by the hotel Breakfast is 2 stars Hotel is also 3 stars In our absence they did maintenance in our room without our permission and they did not clean the room @wyndham own is alive ??

Very bad experience on arrival we were asked to shift to their property Ramada and we dint get our rooms in Ramada as well they were internally fighting because if which we suffered. We paid for 3 rooms at Wyndham and got 2 rooms at Ramada very bad experience in both the hotels the staff is also not helpful

I recently stayed at the Wyndham in the old city Istanbul. I arrived about 5.30pm in the afternoon. I was given a very nice room, good bed, modern bathroom. I unpacked and went for a swim in the excellent indoor pool.After I changed and went out for dinner. I have read some reviews, one said there were no restaurants in the vicinity. Well they weren't staying in this hotel, there were numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk. i found a very good one.When I returned to the room I went straight to sleep. I was bitten by a mosquito and woke up. I killed it and went back to sleep, I heard more of them an noticed 2 in the room.I could not get rid of them and went to reception. It was 1.30am. The receptionist was so apologetic and changed my room, they offered 3 and I took my pick. She was so helpful. The next day I went to breakfast, again I had read some mixed reviews, well it consisted of a large buffet, and everything you could imagine. Nothing like the review I had read. It was very good. On the whole I found the hotel to be excellent standard,be well located close to everything and offer a very good service. I have one point the rooms are dark at night as is the Lobby and reception area, due to inadequate lighting. This looks drab and should be addressed.
